Panels, more Panels, and lots of speakers speaking about their past experiences. As a person who has visited over 50 conferences in my lifetime, I know this specific drill really well. Speakers get on stage and do their 5 or 10 minutes, and tell you their opinion on various topics and then walk off stage.
These speakers have amazing insight and experience most of the time, but the underlying question is how can you apply the information that is being shared on stage by the various speakers to your company?
In the Growth Tank, companies have 15 minutes to pitch their current user acquisition strategies to a team of Growth Hacker panelists, during this time the company will have the ability to ask direct questions and receive direct feedback on what they should focus on in hopes of reaching marketing scale.
Prior to the event, each company presenting will be vetted to make sure they have a solid and sustainable product and would get immense value out of presenting to the Growth Hacker panel. On the flip side each of the panelists will be briefed on the companies presenting to them so that they will be able to do their research on the company and be able to provide valuable feedback.
