Silicon Beach at SXSW

It’s that time of year again, when for a few days everyone in tech remembers that Austin, TX exists. South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive is one of the biggest and loudest tech conferences each year, and this year could be the best ever, with less overhyped SoMe apps and more actually cool shit. L.A. companies are getting in on the action.

Some of our the best events of the week will be from L.A. founders and companies. We’re especially excited about these in particular:

Crowdfunder’s Chance Barnett presents “Will Crowdfunding for Businesses Succeed or Fail?”.

Machinima is presenting “Blood, Sweat, and Online Videos: How to Achieve the Digital Dream”.

And the highlight of the conference is definitely the keynote by SpaceX founder Elon Musk.

The events outside of the conference are where the real fun begins. Make sure to check out TechZulu’s Trend Lounge and DigitalLA’s Silicon Beach Sunday Funday where you can see demos from AdlyCentralDesktopCornerstone OnDemand,Crash City GuidesDemand MediaGlossiGonnaBeFastPayFindTheBestMobile RoadiePaeDaePricegrabberPromojamScopelySteelHouseVueplus, as well as and Retention Science.

Don’t forget to use tech from L.A. companies while you’re there, too.
